City Gatehouse - Battlemap (Patreon)

By order of Sir Layum Darat, Commander of the Royal Army, you are to advance your regiment and seize the southern gatehouse of the enemy polis immediately.

Reinforcements will be dispatched once the royal standard is observed flying from the battlements, you and your men are to hold the fortifications until then.

A diversionary attack will be launched against the eastern wall to draw the defenders away but expect heavy resistance. The nature of your assault will be left to your tactical discretion but it must be launched immediately upon receipt of this order.

Hi guys!

I don't know about you guys but I love running sieges in my games as it gives many adventure opportunities for a party that is either defending, attacking or both!

Have any of you guys run a siege before?

The last one I ran was in a dwarven fortress. The best moment was when a party member infiltrated the enemy sieges lines, disabled their catapults but not before shooting himself back over the walls, using blink at the last second to avoid becoming a red stain on the ground! 

It was mentioned to me by one of you fine patrons that some of the images I upload are a little too big (in terms of filesize) to easily plug into programs like Roll20. So have uploaded JPEGS as well as PNGs. I think moving forward just JPEGs would be best as they are smaller files without any significant drop in quality.
