Hi all!

I am very pleased to present to you my latest collaboration, this time with the exceptionally talented Tabletop RPG Music!

With this release not only will you get the Mountain Village of Morhule in all its glory, but some excellent music to help you set the scene for your players while they are busy adventuring.

This curious little place will hopefully serve you well as a pit stop for your players, or perhaps a good place to kick off an adventure. I mean, just what the hell is going on in that cave!?

All guesses/suggestions welcome!

The village of Morhule is a very remote place. Clinging to the edge of the Dragonspine Mountains, it’s people scratch a living from those windswept heights and have little in the way of luxuries.
Reclusive by nature, (as well as circumstance) the people of Morhule are not necessarily unwelcoming but more, surprised to receive visitors. Far from any road or trade route, and not graced with a passable track through the mountains, Morhule is hardly flush with such interlopers.
This in turn, has led to unique culture developing amongst the families that have lived there for generations. Far from the Inquisitors of The Faith, the inhabitants of Morhule have developed their own ‘pseudo religion’, based around the worship of the mountain itself. As the giver of shelter, water and indeed the very ground beneath their feet, it is perhaps reasonable to expect such beliefs amongst the uneducated peasants.
It is their relationship to the dead however, that is the most curious symtom of their heresy. Rather than burying their departed in the earth or inginating them upon pryes, the denizens of Morhule deposit the corpse, and all its worldly possessions, within a Sacred Cave. What rituals or incantations are untaken within is a mystery, for no outsider is permitted to enter. Any enquiry into such practices is met with a stony faced response such as ‘They have been given back to the Mountain’....
