Sketchbook Sunday (Patreon)

I'm back from the dead!
Sorry, I'm getting a bit dramatic but my health left me this last week and it was hard to get anything done. But on thursday there was the Nintendo direct for Animal Crossing which inspired me to sketch a bit and go in a different direction than usual.
Yesterday I finally felt good enough to sit up and paint a bit again so I threw color on the inked outlines. I tested a new Copic brush pen for the outlines and I like it. But when I color after inking the outlines are always a bit grey-ish because the watercolor is not completely transparent. That is a problem with every brush pen and sometimes I have to force myself to not reapply the outlines so they are a brilliant black, hahaha.
So pictured are Jaskier as a bluethroated nightingale, Geralt as a white wolf (that one was super obvious) and a kind of self portrait, since I like to draw that horned little demonic opossum when I draw myself, all as Animal Crossing villagers. I'm really excited about that game! I like the drawings but I don't know what to do with the empty spaces on the page itself, I hate when a page has so much blank space.

Anybody else excited for Animal Crossing?
