My question is: The killing or victimisation of female characters for the personal and character development of male ones is a common trope/device in pretty much all mediums, do you think Gwen Stacey is another example of this and why/why not?

Awsome read! Really enjoyed this one. OK,so my question for you is (i think) a simple one: what makes Spider man blue, stand out so much from all the other spidey stories? We had so many good ones over the years, but this one is always remembered and recommended by so many people, yet is a simple in continuity story, about Peter talking to a tape recorder, remembering, not the death of Gwen, but his first encounter with her and MJ, and the love triangle that followed. What is your opinion? Thanks! :)
