my favorite season, summer, is finally here! ^_^ to get in the mood, I've been eating a lot of summer fruits that taste delicious during this time of the year. the warm weather and longer days inspire me so much and make me excited about life. the world feels colorful and bursting with electricity and movement. it puts me in good spirits and moves me to draw a bunch of things that make me happy. this month's mail is dedicated to all things wonderful and sweet ✩

above: this month's postcard! lately, I've been very inspired by collage art. I thought it'd be fun to make a piece mashing together some of my favorite things that reflected a summery arts n crafts feel. I really enjoyed trying a multimedia approach with this one and assembling all sorts of cute stickers, washi tape, and memorabilia like movie tickets and lyric books.

and this month's sticker! so much good music has released recently, which I've had on absolute repeat (some current favs). for the past several years, I've made a summer playlist and this year is no different. generally speaking, music has always been a big part of my life and inspires a lot of the art I make. to put it quite simply, i 🩷 music ^_^
