Summer makes me think of vibrant colors, soft mornings, and linens faded by the intense sun. I wanted to channel this imagery into July's postcard and bring you a scene that is both filled with life and calm all at once. I've also recently gotten more interested in drawing backgrounds and want to continue improving that skill to create a secret world of lovers that is familiar yet magical. During summer, I feel those moments when it's so hot and the world is like a haze, reality seems to shift a little. Isn't that magic? 

 ✩°｡⋆⸜(ू｡•ω•｡) 

For this month's sticker I wanted to try something new and change up the shape of the sticker! The square format provided an interesting canvas to work within and gave me more room to focus on other things like flow and contrast. Yellow feels like such a summery color to me so having it as the focus of the piece just felt right. Plus it served as the perfect background for our forest girl. In plain sight yet hidden away, is this what is meant by magic?  ━☆ﾟ. * ･ ｡ﾟ
