☀️ hello friends! ☀️

I always feel nostalgic closing out the end of the summer season. A song that captures that feeling really well in my opinion is This Eve of Parting by John Hartford. a sound both sweet and achingly reflective. last we spoke I was feeling lost in a new home and city. thank you to those who commented on that post and shared their own experiences with change and moving. I think change asks a lot of us and the best we can do most of the time is to go into it with calm acceptance, almost like an act of humility. when we put down our instinct to resist we gain a new part of ourselves. so I'm putting down my fists and going in with arms ready to embrace. in doing so, life feels more open, soft, and gentle~

Kuma has gotten comfortable in my work space! (excuse the mess I was testing pens in a frenzy) she helps out a whole bunch by being super cute. ^^ and knocking my eraser off the desk. >.>

in my new city the sunsets are breathtaking. the land is mostly flat and wide open, which allows you to see the full expanse of the sky as the sun makes its way behind the mountains.  looking at sunsets is something I'll never tire of.
