New Patreon Tax/Fees (Patreon)

So, I got an email today from patreon saying that they’re adding ANOTHER tax  to pledges from patrons in certain areas, and they’re gonna send those of y’all affected an email soon, but I figure I’d give y’all a personal heads up.

To be completely honest, idk enough about this kind of stuff to know WHY they’re tagging on more fees for certain patrons, but I do know that it’s frustrating as hell for me. Y’all can edit your pledges accordingly, So you’re not overcharged. I don’t have any control over these additional taxes,  I apologize over any inconvenience this might come as to some of y’all. 

it seems like every few months they come out with new ways to shaft us with new hoops to jump through, but patreon  is the only subscription modeled platform that works well for me so far, so… signs. It’s not a huge difference, more of a minor annoyance, but yeah. Heads up.
