month in review (nov 24) (Patreon)

This month was B on quantity but A+ for quality and infrastructure. The quantitative targets are still in place; December will be a 16 item Advent Calendar.  That said, devoting some time to design was well worth it.

Rationalizing sites and redirect for user ease is a top priority.  Since there’s now a starting site and RSS link, though, you can always be assured of direct access.  Improvement and innovation proceed from this nucleus.

Second, I project managed a better system for image delivery.  Cupcake, a moderator on the Discord server, implemented a bot that delivers images from a rotating stock of GIFs.  It’s simple and effective.  It paves the way to image ecologies that credit performers seamlessly.  That’s a real felt need in mindkink.

Third, the scripts and audio design cleared new paths.

Liquid Praise creates the sound and vibe of a video game trailer.  You got a fully realized script, a dramatic sound file, and usable haptics.

Glass Houses kicked off the Incognitoh part of the Deep Dream State.  It’s a reality show that turns ferally lusty and kinky. You got that script.  You will receive the audio within a week. It’s been cast, managed and recorded.  Expect upbeat pop arpeggios with all the melodrama of real reality TV.

Velvet is a full on audio drama and it’s amazing.  Echo stars as a neurotic who is obsessed with repeating the past.  She gets everything she wants and more.  It’s part of the Vampi storyline that crosses into Incognitoh.  Independent of storyline, it’s searingly hot as a self-contained piece.

Velvet spawned Interface, but Interface stands alone.  A full cast of performers delivers the fantasy of an addictive eroticized videogame that controls the listener.  It’s couched in a world that genuinely sounds like someone spiked all the water coolers at Nintendo. Are you on the leaderboard for WhoarWars or GluckGluck Speedrun?  Maybe you will be, thanks to Neuroplex.  Haptics let you play the game until it’s not a game anymore.

Finally, Violet is special.  It absolutely earns its place as an inaugural podcast episode.  It blends two storylines.  It’s full on magically erotic realism.  It also creates the orgiastic coven that you’ve always dreamed about.  Every stray reference has a place in the mythos.  So do the birds.  They’re real.

Violet spawned 3.  3 is in the precise sweet spot between uncanny and rutting that haunts my dreams.  It’s associationally linked dreams of a cumcoven.  I’ve implemented this soundscape before, but not on this level.  I intend to use this personally in a carnal sense, and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same.
