OKAY so let us start with what is A birthday finesse IS ? and how to use it?

The birthday finesse is more than just telling someone your birthday is coming up, so forget everything you heard about that. It is not hard to finesse away into bringing up your birthday then straight up saying it. When mentioning or bringing up your birthday, you need to make them think it's their idea period. I would start off with asking:

"What's your sign ?"

'When is your birthday? "

"How old are you?"

Any pots natural reaction would be to ask what is yours?

That is when you will respond with yours and if it is coming up within the next month then say that, however, if your birthday is months away then change it to something closer. 

The next step is vital and it depends on his response a real TRICK OR POT response:

 " What you want for your birthday "  Or " You never know I might get you something for your birthday.

Your response should be something like: " now that you mention I have been looking at this bag/heels,MacBook, etc something expensive but it really depends what you're comfortable with asking for. I never ask for anything I cant resell at market price or a little bit below.  A lot of people like to say why are you asking for luxury bags and why are you asking for red bottoms because tricks and sugar daddies will pay for that before they pay your actual bills, I said this before this is what finessing is not straight up asking for what you need (groceries, rent, car payment) but for what you want. I am not saying that you have to resell the items but "When someone buys you a luxury bag, it is an investment. Not only are they purchasing an accessory that will be a part of your wardrobe for a long time, but also buying something that will retain a portion of its original value as a resale item."

But besides that part don't be afraid to show them your amazon wishlist, your shopping cart, or your dream car. You are planting seeds and the more casual you bring it up the less they will pressure or feel like they heard this before.
