I’ve put together something special that I’ve been wanting to share with you for a while now. It's a bit different—it's a personal look into why I love making reaction videos, and it might surprise you why.

I decided to share with ya'll some personal stuff that I haven't really talked about.

You might be busy, and that’s completely okay, but if you have a moment, I think this video could offer you a new perspective. It’s one of the most passionate discussions I’ve had in some time, and it's not just me; the whole team feels deeply about these reasons, though I’ve barely scratched the surface here.

Sorry for my English, I don’t speak it well, but I understand. This video is touching and I find it courageous to open up publicly. It is often a big step to get better. My daughter and I are pretty much in the same situation as you and in addition to therapy, it is the little words that jared padalecki sometimes pronounces in conventions or during podcasts that helped me move forward; I know that it may seem silly, but it’s like that. Don’t forget, always keep fighting

In order for me to respond to this the way I'd really like to, it would require a video of my own. For now, I'll just say this, Greg: We've talked in the past, a couple of times via DMs, and more in various comment sections, and you remind me of me... like, a whole lot. I identify personally, and deeply, with a LOT of what you said during this video (and yes, I watched until the very end- I'm one of those few people who watch the breakdown portions of videos, not just the reaction, because I care about your thoughts and analysis- even for the smaller shows with less comment interaction... supernatural, bad batch, random movies, etc... even if I don't always have the time to write something, I'm watching it all). You specifically were the first person to make me feel comfortable about crying and expressing emotion, after I grew up similarly to you, intentionally supressing emotion for the sake of "being a man." To me, you're like a friend or brother, since I never had siblings and you seem to think like I do (we also somewhat look alike, lol). I watch your reactions for many reasons, but as someone who didn't grow up in the LA scene, I have zero filmmaking-literate friends, this is my outlet for that interest of mine. The last point I really need to bring up is the recording aspect of what you do. People don't realize just how damn hard it is to speak naturally into a camera in an otherwise empty room, while acting naturally *and being worried about the technical side the entire time*... I know exactly what you meant about "acting" and how that sort of plays a role in simply "being" you whilst on camera, instead of consciously acting/performing/faking. That aspect is so underrated because viewers don't have to experience that side of the situation. But I've tried, so I know just how difficult it is. I respect the hell out of you for it...

Great video so far still watching not sure if Roxy and Tara have already watched all the elm street but I have the old box set that came with official 3D glasses thought I'd be cool if you want them for the video I'd be glad to send. Let me know if you do ok back to the video.

I don’t know how I missed this, but I did. I’ve said this in a recent comment, but I love that you share this stuff with us. This is why I’m here. To feel closer to the reactors I have grown to love over the years. I have always been a very “emotional” person and often seek out movies that will make me cry for the release you are talking about. People often comment on how positive I am in every situation and I believe it is because I allow myself to feel all those emotions. I can’t imagine how hard it is to be your true emotional self while having lights and camera in your face, but I do recognize the effort you guys put into it. Especially when you watch other reactors and can pinpoint every moment as “acting”. I also want to share my excitement over Tara and Roxy being more active on the channel. They are absolutely incredible! I watch most of the videos on the channel, but some content I’m just not interested in so I will skip it. That is not the case when it comes to Greg, Tara or Roxy. Don’t get me wrong, I love everyone, but I will watch whole series I wouldn’t otherwise watch just off of their reaction/analysis. Best example of this is just about anything horror related. Chucky, Omen, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. are not my jam, but those three have got me excited to see more in the series. This is way too long, but I wanted to speak from the heart as you did, Greg.
