I think this is going to be a 2 parter, I think they cut the 3rd act to add to the sequel. Likely, the prank happened to Bridget and Cinderella had to leave the Ball at midnight due to the spell on her dress etc and most likely left Bridget or didn’t realise Bridget was turned into a monster resulting in Bridget having no one to help her - resulting in her becoming evil and disliking Ella who was meant to be her date but ran off with her Prince… I also think it couldn’t have been Ursula’s sister who pulled the prank as the book froze them.. they mentioned there’s a spell cast by Merlin which prevents the book falling into the wrong hands. They wouldn’t have been able to use the book either way. My guess is, Red will need to travel back in time and as she’s the person who can open the spell book (which doesn’t open in the wrong hands) she needs to pull the prank on Bridget to fix the future. Red will sacrifice her happy life & fulfil her destiny. I also assume after turning evil the queen of hearts killed Ursula’s sister, now this didn’t happen it’s possible either Uma is evil again with new motivation orrrrr Ursula’s sister is still out there.
