I remember watching this as a kid and thinking THIS is when Ripley was the most badass for me (at the time lol)! I love this one and it's so unfair it has such a bad score on Rotten Tomatoes! I always thought it was so cool that there was an entire prison planet like that and it made my imagination go wild as a kid at that idea lol it's probably one of the reasons I loved Chronicals of Riddick so much when it came out because Planet Crematoria was my favourite part of the movie also another prison planet 😅🤣 I do think though that Sigourney Weaver with the buzz cut really suits her a lot just added to her badassness lol ❤️❤️

Lol ok after finishing the watch along (my earlier comment was before I watched the watch along) it's not CGI it's a puppet in front of a blue screen (Green did not exist at the time lol) and it didn't really pan out when you watch it nowadays but I can CONFIDENTLY say it worked out VERY well when I was a little kid and that's the thing I wish people would remember that it looked AMAZING when it first came out and maybe I'm a bitter human being but I honestly hate when my childhood is shit on for poor digital effects but even so I still appreciated the critiques and I wish Tara and Aaron saw it in its prime because they've been spoiled with CGI (not a negative critique) nowadays so obviously it will look bad but I did laugh everytime they laughed at the puppet CGI attempt because I agree it does look horrible now but it was special at the time of release but thank you for reacting to it it's still a REALLY fun journey to take with Tara and Aaron 😁❤️
