Definitely my favourite movie out of the trilogy!! Related so hard to the relationship arc between Greg and Rodrick, where it went from enemies to friends to enemies to BROTHERS 🙃

I think the reason that the first one didn't do very well critically is because of the Greg character. He's extremely unlikable and narcissistic and treats Rowley like dirt throughout and he doesn't really have any growth. I like this one a lot more because it actually seems like he has a bit more of an arc and is much more likable.

i really hope you do the 3rd one! :) it's not as good as this one but it's still fun and cute, and relationship building! Also lots of rowley and holly! :) the movies are all a year apart. 2010, 2011 and 2012. The books are comic book like in a sense? Since obviously they're drawings and not much writing. So I think it can be hard to translate it into a full length movie! It does really well with it though, pretty much the whole movie is exactly like the books, which is why it feels lived in and naturally progressing. The books were supposed to be one big book for adults, but the publishers wanted to make them shorter books for kids, hence why it's so linear and there are 'loose ends'.

My favorite one out of the trilogy!! It's so fun and more enjoyable than the first one! Off-Topic but after remembering that Peyton List from Cobra Kai was in this, Rejects should check out the Disney Channel movie "The Swap" starring Peyton List (Tory Nichols) and Jacob Bertrand also from Cobra Kai 😂 (He plays Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz) it's not a musical for once and the story is really solid. I was really invested into it and was left pleasantly surprised by it at the end! So yeah definitely worth a watch :) it's chessy but fun and sweet 😂 I know that the Rejects are in their Disney Channel phase so 😂
