I hope you would at least consider doing the animated films on Disney+ :) They are a lot more accurate to the books and Jeff Kinney (The author of the books series) is a lot more involved in the animated films than he did in the live action ones. Disney gave him a lot more creative freedom on the animated ones than what Fox did on the live action series. Studio interference in the live action films...

The next live action one sucks. But the three animated movies are actually pretty good. Albeit a bit more childish. However they’re charming and also short, I think they’re all like 50 minutes. So more like shorts vs full movies. Even if it’s just on your own time and not a reaction lol

The first two are remakes are the first two live action movies But the third animated one is a Christmas special based on the 6th book in the series. Which as a kid was my favourite book For reference they skipped adapting the third book. This movie was based on the 4th book. They incorporate elements of the third book into both the second and third movie but it was never adapted entirely They also skipped the 5th, 7th, and 8th book. The Long Haul movie is based on the 9th book, which the author wrote for the sole purpose of it being a movie. Unfortunately the movie sucked Also the actor of Rodrick was in Oppenheimer! And a tv show called the 300
