I don't like 4 very much, but The Marked Ones is my second favorite.

i think i rank them by 2 > 3 > 4 > 1 just by rewatchability. I tend to watch the first one the least. Also the 4th one is the one i watched as it came out, so maybe i just remember it the most cause of that

Enjoying watching your reactions to this franchise! Think the next one is probably the weakest of them. Only seen it a couple times, but excited to watch it again and see if it's better than I thought. But the Marked Ones is fantastic though so really looking forward to that one!

My rank is 3 > Marked Ones > 4 > 2 > Ghost Dimension > 1, I still haven’t seen Next of Kin. But in terms of watch order, I think Ghost Dimension should be next and then Marked Ones. I know that’s out of release order and timeline order but that’s the order I watched those two in and I think it makes the lore make more sense that way.

oh also there is a cut of the first three films in chronological order. I don’t know if it’s still available for purchase on itunes and Vudu/Fandango at Home, but it was for years nad I still own it.

okay so i think my theory is that Hunter was being raised normally but the daughter in the 2nd movie and her bf were bothering the demon, remember? So maybe that upset the demon and angered him to being violent. And then of course the dad got him transferred to Katie, which angered the demon more and made the demon kill them. To which, they then had hunter adopted until he was ready.

I thought you guys would recognize Kathryn Newton from Antman and Abigail. But now I'm wondering if you guys haven't seen those movies. Either way, another great reaction. Of the series, this took longer to grow on me, but every time I saw it I liked it more. The fact that they really tried to mix it up: First they scare you so well in broad day light; then they used the MacBook camera as a different form of stationary camera; and that infrared feature from the Xbox One Kinect. They just got super creative to catch the spirit of paranormal activity while still keeping it new and fresh. The two directors that did this one did part three as well. Keep up the great reactions guys and don't forget the dramamine for the next one.

Oh, and I assumed Robby was just the son of one of the many witches in the coven that Katie's grandma started. I don't know if this is ever confirmed but it would make sense. I mean we see the huge coven of witches there in the end. It's not a stretch that one of the witches volunteered their son to bait Wyatt/Hunter. And even though there are two more movies (technically three if you count Next of Kin) they kind of spin off to different people's stories. They are still connected to the original story BUT this one would mark the end of Katie's story as she was finally able to get the first born son of her sister, which finishes the required sacrifice of an heir to Tobi now that Hunter has reached the appropriate age. Sorry, I keep coming up with more thoughts as I listen to your reaction and trivia! LOL
