I agree with your points! It just feels slow to me. Also that last scene between Trish, Jess and Simpson was so stiff. Especially simpson's dialogue. Felt like he was reading cue cards. Lol

Yeah...it was too easy to see that his fate coming especially cause of his dialogue. Just a plot device cameo unfotunately :(
