So I was out running my errands this afternoon and was just sitting back down into my car when I looked up & saw none other than Kevin Smith right in front of me! (Literally at the front of my car, having just stepped out of the shop I’d parked in front of.)

I felt the urge, so I leaned my head out to say what’s up and wish him well (given his recent health scare).

He came right over and chatted with me for a moment before offering to take this picture.

Very sweet guy and a real nice surprise. :)

Saw Kevin Smith's video about the events leading up to his heart attack and his time in the hospital. It was such an honest and real clip. My heart really went out to Kevin even though I've never met him. Glad Kevin Smith is doing better.

Heard his Smodcast retelling & saw the Fatman on Batman clip too and both times he lays it out really candidly and I always gotta admire that. Definitely felt for him and seeing him out and about was oddly reassuring. Likewise real glad he's doing well! :)

2021-07-15 05:41:51 Clerks is pretty great. Actually got to perform a scene from that in a directing class I took once! Dogma's definitely at the top as well & hard not to enjoy some Jay & Silent Bob. Planning on catching up with Mallrats, Red State, & Tusk pretty soon!
