I liked Avengers Infinity War a lot. I enjoyed the fight in Scotland with Vision and Scarlet Witch. It was so much fun watching the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Doctor Strange and Spiderman interact. People are being too hard on Peter Quill though. Peter is a victim of Thanos' craziness just like Gamora and let's face it Iron man, Mantis, Doctor Strange, and Spiderman were still struggling to get the glove off before Starlord went mad with grief. Peter is just a man with feelings. Peter's response if nothing else was human. I'd rather Peter lose his composure with Thanos than feel nothing at all. Can't wait for Part 2 with Captain Marvel.

That's definitely a fair point - and I think it played a good deal better to the both of us on a second viewing. In general, I think we both had a better time with Quill the second time. Still a liiiiittle miffed at him in some respects haha, but depending on how this all shakes out when the various sequels (both to Avengers and Guardians, specifically) arrive, that could make for some pretty compelling development for his character. Really glad you enjoyed the film overall!! It's definitely bold and distinct within the MCU canon. Definitely dug the Scotland sequence as well and all the different characters colliding with one another and pairing off together. Especially loved the team-up with Dr. Strange, Tony, and Spidey, and later on, the Guardians. They've definitely gotten a good hang of their crossovers and I'm psyched to see how those continue through the next several films. Appreciate your feedback as always, man. Hope you're doing well!!
