Man I can totally see why everyone keep telling me the show really gets "AMAZING" by Season 2. This shit is crazy!!!

- The hunt for Bridget continue with Gordon & the Strike Force trying to track her while Selina attempts to protect her life

- And Edward...well the rise of the Riddler truly begins...

Greg. I will tell you what you have learned about Indian Hill so far. It was mentioned in passing during season 1. I PROMISE IT ISN'T A SPOILER SO YOU CAN READ IT. in the 4th episode of the first season of Gotham, there is that battle for Arkham between Falcone and Maroni. On Penguin's suggestion, Maroni gives Falcone "Indian HIll" as a compromise. (Maroni says it is a toxic waste dump and so he doesn't question the suggestion and readily gives up Indian Hill). As we can see, evidently it is more than that! ( i might be a little wrong on the details but that is the overall gist of what you have learned about Indian hIll so far.)

Bridget is a female version of the Batman villain Firefly real name Garfield Lynns, if ya played Arkham Knight he was one of the villains you had to take down, he was also portrayed as a burnt firefighter in Season 1 episode 10 of Arrow, not my favorite flame themed villain that goes to Heatwave in Legends of Tomorrow, anyways with those fun facts out of the way, this is one of my favorite episodes especially that ending bit with all the characters, especially the outro music and Selena as I felt really bad for her and never fails to make my eyes well up a bit, can't wait for your other reactions as you and the show keep getting better and better :D Edit: Another fun fact apparently this version of Firefly was also recently introduced in the Prime Earth continuity as the protege to the 2nd version of Firefly in the comics as Lady Firefly, I did not know this but its really cool its just like when Harley Quinn was put into the comics by a tv show.

You may remember a few comments back, I mentioned some arcs that I really only remembered the end of, and Ed and Kringle's arc was one of them. Every time you would say they had to be doing something with Ed I would tense in anticipation. And trust me, his arc only gets better from here. As a person who did not know anything about the Firefly before Gotham, I really like the unique take on the character here. She is very compelling and her backstory just adds something to the character that was missing, which is why Firefly is so underutilized outside of the comics. I mean, they added this version (or something very similar) to comic book canon so Gotham did something right.

Appreciate the fun facts, my dude!!! I gotta catch up with Arkham Knight, and I was a bit bummed she was killed off in this episode cause I thought she made for quite an interesting character/conundrum - simultaneously though I can imagine that if she was kept alive the story of Season 2 might've been bogged down by too many plot lines to focus on. Hopefully we can see Firefly brought to the big screen one day! And not as some "Rhino Amazing SpiderMan 2" appearance lol. Thanks for watching dude!

2021-07-15 05:22:57 Im excited for what they do. I thought in Season 1, it's "Riddler" teases were kind of annoying and a little too cheeky for my cup of tea (especially for this kind of show) but what they've done so far has been EXCEPTIONALLY Engaging & Rewarding. I really like Firefly in this episode and was saddened that she was killed - however it did introduce the character to someone like myself!
