This is still my favourite season. I know the show has a lot of great seasons, but this is the only one where I love every episode except Fresh Blood, and even that is good.

Toasted Toad

Everybody loves Bobby! He was only supposed to be in one episode, but they all liked him so kept bringing him back. Unfortunately, they are also limited in how many recurring characters they can have for very practical reasons of budget (Season 1 was done on a budget of £200k for the entire season, including sfx). I found this a bit of a disappointing season premier - like you say, I think it needed two episodes. They dispatched those deadly sins pretty easily. I'm sure everyone's told you that Season 3 was badly affected by the writer's strike (which hit them about half way through).

Probably the weakest season premiere of the series. Still has its good parts specially Dean and his recklessness but the biggest disappointment is that they dispatched such HUGE fish, the Seven Deadly Sins, rather easily. They feel wasted, even at the time when I watched it. As the show aged, now that we're in season 15, boy I wished they would've saved them for some of those later seasons. They would've benefited from the effects and honestly they could've been the big bads of an entire season.
