Thank you to all who submitted requests and voted, it took a long time to organize the list to get to this moment but the patrons have casted the final vote & it appears that after the 24 hour time, HUNTER X HUNTER is the next show John & I are watching together! Oof that was a close one. I'm glad hxh won I don't think I could do dbz again and I just finished a one piece rewatch a few months ago, I'm not doing that again for at least 5 -10 years. Imo hxh has the best writing out of the 3 then OP then dbz. But overall I rather see shorter series like violet evergarden, made in abyss, death parade or the promised neverland.

Lol, I don't have it in me for these long shonen series anymore. Tried to do black clover but it wasn't for me only made it to episode 20. Funny things it's not until around episode 20 of hxh that it really picks up for me 🤷🏾‍♂️

I think it's definitely gonna remain on our proverbial shortlist! It's clear there's interest in it (it was neck & neck with Hunter for a while). We'll see what more we can accommodate as we continue to grow, though. Hope that's not too much of a bummer!! 😣

Haha yeeaahhh, when we heard how long One Piece is, we were kinda sweating a little. Not that we wouldn't check it out, but for what we do here a more contained show sounds a bit more manageable at the moment 😅 Been hearing a lot of great things about DBSuper, though! The movie actually set some records here in terms of anime films. And funny enough, it was the popular anime I didn't end up watching back in the day when all the other kids in our class were lol, so I've missed a loooot of that lexicon over the years. But yes haha, for now you can rest easy 😝glad you'll be joining us for HxH!!!

The director of the most recent dbz movie just took over as the series director of one piece and it's gotten a pretty good boost animation quality and paceing. There is alot of hype in the community around this new OP arc

It's a reference to hxh but it's more of just a Japanese term. I've mainly seen it used in martial arts and sports series and it's a word that can be used for a bunch of meanings like: yes, hello, goodbye, ok, thanks, excuse me, ect. It's kinda like that Italian word MJ in spiderman far from home learns.
