So "Mito-san" is actually his dad's biological cousin. And they say that Ging left to become a Hunter, but he had been a Hunter for some time before Gon was born. I can't say much more, but hopefully that clears things up lmao

Oh my gosh. I re subbed yesterday and you chose hunt x hunter?! This shows is considered by many to have the best writing /world building and characterization in shounen genre. And I tend to agree with them lol. Hopefully you will enjoy it guys, despite first 20 ep being a slow burn

I have been alright . Thanks for asking. Its just life stuff happened so I was away from the internet for a bit .Lol. Im glad you guys went for subs, since the dub is actually awful , its nowhere near the quality of FMA B/MHA/ Death Note . Also this is the longest anime you picked so far, 148 episodes . Its gonna be a long journey . Haha. Theres a lot of things I wanna tell you guys about this show, but I dont wanna set expectations . So Im just gonna do it gradually when you notice stuff while watching it and comment on it .

No problem! Hope it wasn’t anything too serious 😅😓 plus sometimes a little internet break can be nice.. Haha yeeaah, we made sure to do a little research & collect some feedback when deciding on subs vs dubs. And that’s basically what I heard is that Death Note’s is pretty good & to avoid Hunter x Hunter’s at all costs lol. And funny enough, of the 3 shows we polled for our new slot, this one is the shortest (thinkin’ we definitely dodged a bullet with One Piece in terms of length 😅). Really appreciate you being discreet with the details, but DEFINITELY feel free to keep us enlightened along this way. Actually helps a lot haha
