Gotham has always flirted with horror, and season 4 hones in on it more than ever. Prof. Pyg is such a welcomed addition. His evil theatrics reminds me of Jerome. Reflecting back on it, Gotham actually has many noteworthy scenes centered around the dining table, and this, most definitely, earned its place among them. I loved Pyg’s opening act (homage to one of my favorite musical numbers: Cell Block Tango from Chicago) and how quickly he snapped into serious mode when Sofia interrupted. Nothing like maiming your audience to demand their attention. The showdown between him and Gordon was the perfect climax to this intensely perverse dinner. Sofia’s presence plays a major role in why this is my favorite season. Crystal Reed does a great job conveying the methodical genius behind her charcter’s eyes. I just think back to your season 1 critique regarding the insufficient writing for Gotham’s female characters, and Sofia is a testament to how far the show’s come on that front. On a personal level, I get annoyed when any character goes on a downward spiral after a traumatic event, but on a story level, it makes sense for Bruce. I was sad to see Alex go so soon because what little interaction he had with Bruce was charming. I would’ve liked to have seen Bruce maintain a friendship with a peer outside of flaky-Selena, but I understand that’s not Batman’s M.O. Looking forward to your next reaction!

Very late to these but enjoying watching along with you alot. Also just want to say I really appreciate how you continue this show, you don't just care about how many viewers you get because getting to enjoy this show and make just a handful of people happy with the content is worth it. Most youtubers would have canceled if the views wernt up, but I am so glad you didn't. Keep up the good work. Plan on moving onto other series and movies on the patreon once I've finished with Gotham.
