I totally forgot about recap, lol. Honeslty I dont remember much about this part of the show beyond Near and Mello introductions . Near looks like more anime version of L , a little kid with cool white hair , Not that i dislike it. I like this anime trope as far as character designs go. As for the time skip, i dont remember show having a break, or manga for that matter, Tho it could be a possibility . I just think its just the next chapter in this story and having a time skip, is probably good way ti inform the audience about it

Haha it's all good. For a second when I started recording it I was like, "wait.. was I told to skip this?!?" But I guess it's more of a half-cap, all things considered. Funny, at a glance Near almost reminds me of Killua a little bit haha. I also enjoy how he's always toying with a strand of it in his fingers. Good to know re: the break (or lack, thereof). Given that it's the beginning of a distinct, new chapter in the story, I can see why they did the time jump. Plus it really goes to solidify L's fate... and make it all-the-more maddening that Light is essentially living as L now lol.
