Now that we are in the '20s, My favorite so far is Top Gun: Maverick! I was 10 when the first Top Gun came out. I waited 36 years for the sequel... and it was worth every minute of it! The action, the drama, the cast flying in the F18s, Miles Teller as Goose's son, and the CINEMATOGRAPHY, my God that's gorgeous!!! The movie is incredible! Would LOVE to see reaction videos for both movies from any of you who haven't seen it!

Miles Teller was incredible in Whiplash! He learned to play drums for that role. He also sang and played 'Great Balls of Fire' on the piano in Top Gun: Maverick! It's even on the soundtrack! Miles grew up playing several instruments, and he's a great dancer as well! He played Willard in Footloose, in high school. Then he played Willard in the remake of Footloose (2011)! He was perfect for that role! Even though I grew up in the '80s, I love the remake so much more than the original Footloose (1984)!

Endgame, Infinity war, and the first avengers is on my top 20 and also La La Land. I love Drive as well. I love Get our but I actually think Us is even better. You guys make me want to revisit The Babadook

Edgar

1.Whiplash 2.Logan. 3. Sicario. 4. Inception. 5. A Silent Voice . Honorable Mentions : Social Network, Her, Arrival, Fast Five, Tangled, Black Swan, The Witch. All of my favorites all blockbusters ,lol. Need to watch more indie stuff and foreign films

2021-07-15 04:55:27 Glad to see some Us love! Definitely feel like you could have a compelling debate on this topic between Get Out & Us. Truthfully I'd be content putting either one on. And of course, nothin' like a combo of Avengers Love & Gosling Love lol

Goooood picks! Haven't seen A Silent Voice yet, but I remember when it came out - I heard a lot of great things at the time. One'a these days I'll have to start watching more film anime. The Witch is one I'd definitely consider as well. Still gotta see Tangled, I'm ashamed to say... and I'm so happy Fast Five was included here as well lol. Gotta look out for the family!

That’s awesome you mentioned Mandy too. Check out Nicolas Cage newest movie Color of space, he’s crazier in this movie than he is in Mandy. Such a great actor most of the time

Ahhh, I'm dying to see that! It just opened out here, gotta try n catch it before it disappears! Nic Cage truly exists in a lane of his own haha.

I think you had some great ones. to pick only 5 from a whole decade is pretty tough haha. here's mine (in no particular order): Endgame, Get Out, Interstellar, The Greatest Showman, The Danish Girl.

Edgar

It was between Witch , Babadook and Hereditary as my fav horror film this decade, hard choice . Also Tangled is my fav CG movie by a long shot , was thinking either Tangled of How to train your dragon 2, but Tangled is just too good. And Fast five is legit one of the best action movies and the best fast and furious movies . Theres nothing I would cut or fix in that movie .

Thank ya! It is hard to pick over 10 years - especially off the dome 😅 haha. I like your picks as well! Always nice to see some Greatest Showman love. Did not expect to enjoy that movie nearly as much as I did.

The Greatest Showman is love haha definitely a pleasant surprise for me as well :)
