The Dr. Strange origion story resonates most with me as it focuses on the change with-in first; breaking the ego and self-discipline. It's a journey everyone can begin from most any place they are at.

Hmm 🧐 , I wanted to pick Tankgirl or Poison Ivy, but they’re supervillains lol So, I’ll go with Storm, because she started from rock bottom and came out an og lol — And of course, thank you for putting all that thought into my question ♥️

I feel like she could count in some ways, but you might know better than I. Hard to go wrong with storm, tho! Badass character & she does have a pretty compelling origin. Good stuff!!

When I was revisiting the profile of Tankgirl, it said since she is so violent and sexually expressive, that she isn't a great role model lol However, I think it's a whole other topic to breakdown why those traits in a female character are suddenly "wrong", when that is the very essence of a male "hero" or lead like James Bond. Personally, I dig her because she upsets the status quo :)

I was gonna say, isn't she something of a punk/queer icon particularly because of those qualities? Definitely seems like if male heroes can embody similar qualities, a female character should certainly be able to.. but then again.. all this makes for that delicious upset of the status quo, like you said, so there's always that!
