haha. I totally saw you guys not vibing with this episode. It its completely fair and justified with your reasoning . And like I said the show does not provide constant quality episodes due to its length and how much older it is to other stuff you are watching . And its a knowin thing about this show in particular with its fluctuations in quality , storytelling and especially pacing and information dumps . , The highs are very high but the lows are quite low . i think most people who enjoyed the show immensely can agree to that . Tho on the other hand , while i do agree drama and emotional attachment to episodes would be much better. I just dont think hxh has that many episodes like that or is that kind of show mainly S1 only had few of em and only at the end of the season , wiith killua killing a person and being disqualified . S2 was mainly learning nen shit in heavens arena. I get your gripes , but i honestly dont think this show goes for that emotional pay off and resonance as much as we would like to. For better or wose . haha And i actually enjoyed your lenghty discussion despite not liking the episode , i think its just a good thing in general to understand why something did not click and comprehend other peoples criticism . And you guys did just that , so im satisfied , lol.

😬 Yeah the fluctuation is real. I’ll admit there’s no payoff sometimes and the pacing can be all over the place. It can be a slow burn that you need patience for I’ll tell you that much. What I did enjoy was Hisoka and his fortune. I don’t know why he didn’t just change it completely but it worked out I guess. He actually has no interest in killing anyone but Chrollo so he doesn’t want to engage with the other spiders and Chrollo’s shown no interest in Hisoka at all so I think he’d refuse a 1v1 and the troupe would attack for him and probably win against Hisoka.
