Episode Synopsis: The next mission is in Asakusa, Tokyo. Tanjiro is taken aback by the opulent Taisho Era cityscape, but soon picks up the demon’s scent there. His pursuit of the scent leads him to Muzan Kibutsuji...  also..  THE UDON!!!

I had the same reaction as you when he killed that girl. Lol I’ll have to look up the VA for Muzan but the way he said “Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong” gave me chills. As terrifying as he is though, I like the fact that he was shaken just by seeing Tanjiro’s earrings, it adds another layer to his character. Glad you loved this episode!

This anime is really good it's up there with my hero academia and Hunterxhunter. Their is a newer anime called fire force that has a cool and weird story like demon Slayer with cool animation and fight styles and characters. Demon Slayer has smoother fighting animation though.

This was pretty good episode. I def agree with ya , John. Especially Muzans introduction and that whole alleyway sequence really established what kind of character Muzan is. The VA perfromance when talking to the girl was just flawless . I really like Muzans va and tone , vey methodical and intentional. As for the second half i actually liked it , lol. I bet you thought i am not gonna . I think im okay with this show being like that, since while it does have some disturbing stuff , i am not expecting super serious stuff all the time tone wise and adhere to some sort of realism character wise . It was hard innitially to accept that , but at some point i started taking this show for what it is and not expecting some masterpiece level of character work or thematic nuance . And especially on my second viewing with you, it does not even bother me, i honestly find it funny too. It fits Tanjiros character . Also, theres a clear divide between second half and first half, and it was approapriate for second half . What i dont like is having humor and tonal clashes during dramatic, serious parts . And FMA B had that , lol.
