You are about to meet the best boi in the whole show in next ep, hahah. At least in my opinion. And yeah I posted some harder /edgier anime openings in one of death note reactions . I dont even remember what those shows were . The episode itself was pretty good , I can def agree with you about humanizing demons and showing some of the humanity in their dying moments and Tanjiro being super empathetic . Its very genre /demographic thing , since you know the readers are young kids but I appreciate it despite being a known device in shounen. The execution in this show is usually on point, even if it uses same old tropes and archetypes known to genre . In a way its similar to MHA in that regard..
