Happy Tuesday, RejectARMY!!

So with everything going on in the world, I totally missed that this was happening over the past weekend... so it was a nice surprise waking up to this notification Monday morning lol.

The Bangtan Boys are decked out in the Mad Men best for a lively rendition of their newly-released (and M A S S I V E L Y successful) summer jam, DYNAMITE!

I for one think bell bottom pants should make a comeback. Lol I love their live performances so much because you get their little additions like minor note changes or vibrato, which I think help it feel richer from the studio version. Also I love watching the choreo in full. I caught a little of the VMAs and it was different! I felt like it went a lot quicker with no in-person audience and artists in remote areas. I know bts definitely recorded this performance in Korea but idk much about the production behind it. Fun fact: from 2:33 on that’s actually Seoul, specifically the Han River, on the green screen behind them! And with the B-Side MV, it’s super cute, but not different enough to warrant a reaction, so you can just watch it on your own time. Thanks for reacting John!

I did watch the vmas, I thought Keke did a good job hosting. I don't listen to BTS but this performance was pretty good. The only other performance i like is the Chloe x Halle Ungodly Hour performance. They dropped their album Ungodly Hour in 2020 and they have been performing those songs from their backyard and killing it.
