Well, I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I think it's my least favourite of all the Doctor Who episodes (including those ones in Season 1, which have something cheesily enjoyable about them). In fact, that's my feeling about Season 3 in general. It has some great Who episodes, but also some of the worst. And it's the exact opposite of an analogy to Solomon. The guy's name might be the same, but the whole point of the biblical story was that it was a test to find the true mother of the baby by suggesting a fair compromise would be to split the baby in two. By contrast, this is exactly what it seems - sharing a loaf of bread equally between two men. I just can't stand 'American' accents of British actors. Sets my teeth on edge. And the whole thing does not make sense. Daleks are all about racial purity. They are the ultimate ethnic cleansers. Wanting to combine Dalek and human is like a Nazi saying "well, there aren't enough of us anymore. We'll breed with the Jews until we've got our numbers back up" except more extreme.  And I think the make-up/creature effect for the Dalek at the end is an epic fail.

Could the subtitles go? They're abit distracting and idk if they're needed.

Not a favorite episode, but I do enjoy a period piece, and Tallulah ("3Ls, one H") is allot of fun. It's also provides another means of seeing the relationship between Martha and the Doctor develop. I would think it not that hard to do with life and death experiences. At any rate, I hope you enjoy part two, but as for me I'm looking forward to your reaction to the second half of this series as it is quite good.

The pig men were early test experiments in gene splicing as the first step in their eventual splicing of Dalek/Human DNA - then used them as slaves.

I’d be happy if the volume of the show was a tad louder. If I turn my volume up to hear the show then the boys are too loud. It’s been years since I’ve seen these Dr Who episodes, and I really need to hear the dialogue. Just my two cents.
