If you didn’t notice the portal Aida created was a scientific version of a doctor strange portal. Love so many moments of this episode. Ghost rider in Mack, Aida and the cool effects and stunts. Season 4 really moves fast but in a good way. Also to answer your question Fitz said they were deeper then Lucy and if you remember some of her ghosts friends could not speak or were fading too

The death of Vijay Nader became such a meme amongst the fans. He never gets released from the new cocoon. Even in season 7, fans were joking he would come back. I think the writers didn’t want a god-mode character that could get out of any situation.
