2021-07-15 04:31:10 (havent seen ur review, so i hope im not just repeating what u guys already say haha.) i forgot how like, 30% of this ep is so cartoonish? lol. also at the end, i get theyre trying to make a contrast to the pic of bobby and ellen to a pic of just bobby. but WHY would bobby have a framed picture of himself in his living room? i say, have that picture include bobby posing w sam and dean, instead. it makes more sense, and it would highlight that even if he doesnt have that relationship w ellen in this reality, he has his relationship to the boys, and that its still important to him. esp since we just saw dean and sam taking care of him ❤❤ and i loved the insight into what cas is willing to do in his war, even if it is off screen lol.

I love this episode. I missed Ellen and Jo so much and the first time I watched this episode, I was SO excited to see at least Ellen back. And to have her married to Bobby?! Awesome👌🏻 I think something you said really defines season 6 for me. Once you’ve seen the whole season, going back and looking at some of these episodes with a bit more information makes the whole season so much more interesting. It’s still not my favorite season, but it has gotten better for me over time. If you guys do a S6 discussion with the bloopers I’d be super interested to hear your take on that. As always, love your commentary and can’t wait for next week!

I also love that the first thing you really see that is “wrong” is not the Mustang, but the fact that Dean didn’t throw scissors when he and Sam did RPS to see who would say something to Bobby.

can't wait for the the reaction to that one moment in next week's episode...the people that have seen the episode should know what i'm talking about.

Agree with you that I appreciate the episode much more after a number of rewatches. Same as with episode 1, which just feels off until your learn Sam is soulless.

I am not sure which I like more. The “Yeah Dean, I’m pretty sure that six seconds is too soon.” or the One Way or Another montage. 😂😂😂 When Greg says he feels the episode is a bit less dynamic (paraphrasing) with Sam and Dean just being along for the ride, for me it is that the end is sad with again losing Ellen and Jo, and knowing Cas was hiding the truth from the boys at the end. Cas’s war is so intangible to us, because we haven’t really seen much about it. We’re not really invested in his battle. So it just doesn’t seem to carry the weight of other episodes.

No matter how many times I see S6, there is always something new to pick up on. Hearing your perspective helped with those things in this episode, and I thank you for that. You both hit on a couple of things that will be worth revisiting - for sure!
