Another SPN reaction channel I subscribe to just finished "Everybody Loves a Clown" (S2E2)...which this episode is clearly replicating in it's tone and structure, albeit scripted a little differently. Never noticed that until today, although I have always liked both. I appreciate the insight from you guys on why. Great reaction.

Yeah it would have been fun having Ash around. Totally valid point about Sam. I guess in 7x07 Dean said fine be mad at me but stop being a bitch about it. And then I guess Sam shoved down his anger is acting like normal. But I don’t believe Dean’s lies/betrayal has/will ever fully go away for Sam. I know it’s still in there.

Yes, we dropped that when Sam admitted Dean was right. He just objected to the lying. And you know perfectly well that season arc things don't appear in every episode in any season. Things have just been a little overshadowed at the moment by - I dunno - Bobby's death?
