Another Wednesday upload! Thanks John. Love this finale as it really just brings together all the little threads throughout the season. Something I never pointed out to you but I’m sure you noticed is the fact that the villain of the arc or season is usually confronted by characters with similar arcs or that share the same threads and throughout the show different members of our team have fought the big bad. With this one Kasius shared a story arc with Mack Yoyo and Simmons and they all helped take him down. Mack was all about not wanting to use violence to get what he wants while Kasius was all about using it to control people. Mack has power all the time being such a big man while Kasius doesn’t have power so surrounds himself with people more powerful. Then both of them being forced to be violent after they lose a women they care about. Simmons going full circle to the start of the season by getting Kasius with the ear thing (also helping a inhuman with their powers again And Yoyo (future at least) who was always so willing to be violent being abused and tortured through being killed over and over for decades. (We saw in 5x8 flashback with Robin that she was about to attack the kree and this is probably the moment they first got her) Something that some people caught in 5x9 that I’m glad you didn’t notice is that Yoyo was recognized by Kasius in 5x9 and he called her by name even though we had never seen her meet him. That was a clue that he did meet her previously. He also didn’t realize she was a “seer” until that moment. Season 5 is surprisingly graphic. The loop Yoyo talked about is a scary thing. You and your teams actions lead to the end of the and the only way to MAYBE stop it is to let your leader and mentor die. Future Yoyo was not even sure if that would work as well. Overall I liked Kasius character as there are many types of villains that people tend to forget. Not all of them are tough or strong. Villians can be just as divisive as heroes

Episode 100. Soon. Fun fact: Jeff Ward, the actor playing Deke Shaw, was originally cast as Virgil so he could've been in only one episode. Thankfully, he impressed the producers so much and was given a bigger role as Deke.
