Agree with a lot of your comments. We luz Mrs Tran. Definitely MVP of this episode! And a minority female character managed to survive an episode! Samandriel is also a darling. I’m not sure I agree about your comments re editing of Purgatory scenes, though. We don’t know the full story there yet. I really like this episode. Obviously, not the best ever SPN episode but nevertheless really enjoyable.

Aww... I love that it's your favourite show right now, it's my favourite too, and always will be!

I liked this episode, mostly because we get some info on Dean's time in Purgatory, and on his after affects with that jailhouse interview. His time in purgatory may have worked for Dean because it was simple there. So he oddly could have been more relaxed in some ways. I've always seen demons as twisted souls, so Crowley IS a soul. It looked like mom Tran's soul is intact. The transfer never happened. The god is dead, and Kevin is gone, so the deal never actually happened. Never went through with it. The God and his henchmen are all dead, so there's no reason for a lean to be on Mrs Tran. Especially since she didn't get the tablet. Other than that, on a shallow level, I'm loving how Sam and Dean look so far this season. Moose's hair is lovely and Dean is just lovely overall. Supernatural is my favorite show. Nothing has been able to replace it yet, for me.

I also find this episode very interesting. The actor's work as always fit so well. I do think they are sort of setting up a parallel of Dean, the man thrust into full time war, verse Sam, the man with a normal life, differences in mindsets. I personally really love all the purgatory scenes and think they get so much story across by the actor's abilities. I loved the concept of the auction, but some of the details of the auction don't quite meld together as well for me.
