Oh, the episode where the Doctor turns the entire human race into assassins hunting the Silence.

One of the times I remember the Doctor can be an absolutely ruthless killing machine lmao

In the description box you have it as season 5 in progress when that season is now complete wasn’t sure whether you were aware of that or not? (To Clarify I mean aware of The description box not what season you are on 😂)

Two things I noticed upon rewatching this episode that I thought were interesting: 1. The Silence seem to always be panned to the back of the headspace when listening to this with headphones which gives the impression that they are always behind you. 2. Rory, at the time of the episode, is technically over 1000 years older than the doctor. This is because he technically lived for the 2000 years as an auton guarding Amy in the pandorica whereas this Doctor is the one from the end of last season and so is only 900 and something.

Totally agree with a lot of questions being left unanswered, and scenes having 'easy-out's'. I think there's just way too much going on to focus on the smaller things. In my mind this is definitely one of those two-parters that goes for style over substance unfortunately. I let a lot of the smaller stuff slide because there's a lot of cool stuff here to enjoy.

Great reaction as always, that ending with the girl regenerating was a huge shock for me

I always thought that memory of Silence works here kinda like perception filter. You don't see it but if you know about it or someone told you that its there you can see through it. People don't remember the Silence but if they know about them and how they work, that information isn't as easy to delete.
