Show: It’s the miraculous Quatro Quesos Dos Fritos!! How is this possible?!? Me, a lifelong Miami-an: That’s just papa rellena. It would be a daylong adventure to find a place in this city that didn’t have it. Still, love this episode. I think it’s the first time we see the weight and consequences of his lie about being a psychic actually affect Shawn, which is a nice, humanizing moment. Anywho, I’ve said it before, but this season has the best first two, best last two episodes of the show. I am for sure biased in my love for next episode given its content, but even objectively I’d still say it’s one the series’s best. Brush up on your… hm, what’s the least spoilery way to say this… Okay, here it is: it’s incredibly fortuitous that you’re watching next episode in October, and if you are recording relatively close to when you post, the dates will also be thematically relevant……… oh fuck it, just think fondly on a particularly stabby and teen-killing genre prevalent in the 80s.
