Ugh Olivia 🤣 Aang also had things given to him. Several different avatars have straight up shown him flashbacks. Its not very convenient. But if you are going to fault Korra for that, then you have to fault Aang for doing the exact same thing. It would be more convenient if she all of a sudden summoned aang himself and they talked and then he elaborated on everything. It makes more sense that all she gets is little flashbacks like receiving a message from a ghost. Thats more sensible for someone who is very spiritually untrained.
