Yeah they didn't think they were getting more. Korra was just going to be a miniseries. And then they were rushed for another season. Keep that in mind when viewing the finale. So they didn't have time to flesh out Iroh, or make a whole episode dedicated to the flashbacks. It definitely wasn't boring, but maybe slow burns are more effective for you. I think it was still enjoyable, just not fleshed out.

Damn, haha well I still hope you guys enjoyed the finale, but I think I can guess your feelings on a certain moment towards the end lol 😅 but don't worry, the show gets out of the mud of all this studio interference.
