Episode Synopsis:

Kite, Gon, and Killua follow Hagya as they seek the Chimera Ant nest where the Queen awaits.. However, as they are about to reach the Queen's castle, one of the Royal Guards, Pitou, appears before them. Pitou attacks Kite with ferocious speed. How do Gon and Killua react?

2022-12-29 13:46:21 Well that wasn't the reaction I expected, but I understand why not seeing the fight might of bumped you out. I looked at it them not showing what happened to maybe be a glimer of hope that Kite is still alive, like with the speech Gon gave to Kilua that made him belive, it was supose to make us belive, only for us to find out first that Kite is dead and feel bad that Gon does think he's still out there. And about the "back to school" for Gon & Kilua. Look, we spent all this time watching how the danger grows by the episode, and our boys didn't REALLY know what to expect, they definitely didn't expect Pitou (which btw, if you're annoyed of trying to remember her name, wait till you hear the other 2 guards names😂), like they went from losing in the Heavens Arena, to fighting some rpg irl in the Greed Island, and then droped smack dab in the middle of a war they know nothing about, so it's safe to say that they are not ready yet. And the new characters, I mean we know Netero, we know that he's the Charman of the Hunters Association and you don't get there by chance, so he and his right hand men are clearly more equipped to handle this than our inexperienced main boys. I know that you may have Greed Island ptsd about this ep., but this arc did a great job building the danger and risks of what's to come, and we haven't even got The King yet! (but he is near!) And I can't strech enough how grand the payout is, and whatever comparation you try to make in your brain with the previous arc, that is not even in the same galaxy as the Chimera Ant arc!
