If Zaheer was in DC comics, he would definitely get a Green Lantern ring. This man has the strongest will than anyone in this universe. Never compromise except for his love and now she is gone. His morals are a different story though.

Guru laghima quotes have been mentioned a few times throughout the season, I believe Zaheer quotes him in the first scene he is in back in the first episode of this season, also kuvira is the captain you thought was the traitor, she's also been in the background in a few episodes.

Yeah so beside the massive spoiler in the comments (Jesus lord 😤) Zaheer mentioned in the first episode that Guru Laghima unlocked the secret to freedom, living his final forty years without ever touching the ground. That is another Airbending Sub Element, Flight. But to achieve it, you have to let go of your earthly desires, and I think very few airbenders would go that far. And its been brought up several times like when he finds that necklace of Laghima in episode 5, or when he's defending his beliefs to Korra in episode 9. So its been built up in a subtle way, some hidden thing about Guru Laghima. I dont think it was that out of nowhere, but it can be easily missed. Zaheer doesn't go against his morals all that much. His mission is freedom, and he will do just about anything to get it. Kuvira was shown multiple times in Zaofu as others have said, she's sprinkled quite a bit throughout the season. Also... I really hope you see this cause I can't tell if you're aware... this is the penultimate episode. 😂 The finale is next, so it's kinda funny you're doing something as lame as getting married (like who does that? So selfish, pshhh. Love 🥱) I do hope you've seen the finale before your wedding, but if not then just be aware that you're literally at the end of the season lol you guys kept thinking there's like 20 but sadly the longest season was season 2 with 14 episodes. Season 3 and 4 have 13. So yeah, I hope you're not shocked next time that the story arc closes up 😅 I hope you have a good time enjoying your wedding Olivia!
