Hey hey! Ah this episode is always fun. The commercial kills me everytime lol! And the whole bit with Gus and the White House as a nod to his time on the West Wing is just golden. I remember the first time I saw this episode I was beside myself with the moment Shawn goes in to talk to the chief and then Jules stepping in. I truly didn't expect Jules to do that and I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first. But I think it all comes back to the fact that Shawn really does do good. But yea, I just love the honesty between Shawn and Jules in this ep. You really get to see Shawn's growth here. And I appreciate how they take the time to let it all unfold in a more natural way. As well as leave us with a hopeful, light hearted feeling by the end of the episode. As for the pinap, I was anxious for you to catch it the whole time and I thought you might when they zoomed in on the apple core, but I totally get just being lost in that moment because it's hilarious haha Anyways, loved your thoughts! I'm always wary to over hype but I am excited for the next one. Till next time! Much love bud! 🖤

I love for all the silliness of this show, they have such mature discussions, like the one at the end when Jules realises that even if she was hurt by Shawn's lie (rightly so), what she asked would've been bad for the bigger picture, it takes alot of maturity to realise the severity of your actions while under high emotions even if you feel in the right for those emotions. And Shawn too, like you've said, he showed growth by just risking everything for what he thought was right, great discussions throughout. Funny how you predicted the mayor's death minutes before the scene, maybe you are psychic🤔. Next ep. will be another great one, one of my faves also! 🍍Another one in the bank! Keep all your senses sharp and you'll be able to sniff another one! Trivia: It's almost clear what the cast's favorite show is, cause John Kapelos is like the 4th guest star from The Breakfest Club after Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson and Molly Ringwald, even the one cheeky line when Swaggerty arrived at the ga(y)la with his daughter and tells her "go say hi to Uncle Judd".😉

i hope that was a good burger reference in the beginning. this episode was really fun especially that commercial. personally really enjoy this episode and next episode is one of my favorites of the whole series.
