I honestly wasn't expecting too much going in, but so far, I'm hooked. What Alacqua Cox can convey with just her facial expressions is truly incredible. King Pin might be my favorite villain in the MCU. Seeing that man just live to see another day made me happy. Plus Daredevil, are you kidding me?!? Yes please!!! 😈

I normally skip the preview outros, but this one immediately took me. Imho super worth watching, great editing showcase in that thing. I think jujutsu kaisen is another show that did it well, among probably too many to name... but holy shit, great first episode

choreography was nuts. Some of the initial pacing and acting felt off (I really liked the "skips," personally), but I'm definitely about to find out, apparently, how great fighting can get in a show. This first episode alone already rivaled the greats like Raid 1/2 in some aspects, just really great timing and planning. Not to call it too early or anything, but it's still hilarious to me how the armchair experts already called it, and then they went ahead and made one of the most fun first episodes ever. Cool, I'm into it.

Not sure if it was a real one or if you were sarcastically asking but to answer your question yes you can get the same kind of bar thing to help you with ice skating if you want. Definitely used them growing up as we ice skated a lot as a Canadian kid. Oh and I agree with you about this episode, good start but I need more to decide what I think about it.

Also, I can't believe you never saw last of the mohicans as I had to learn about it in high school, It's so good!

I love that this was actually shot on location so much. Rewatched Ironman the other day and was struck by how practical everything looked.
