As soon as the beginning of the fight is announced, Cloud takes the upper hand and tries to thrust Tifa with his sword, without any hesitation.
however, Tifa just spins to the side, dodging Cloud's attack with no effort.

-Tifa: Oh Cloud, Can you be more predictable than that?

Cloud doesn't answer to Tifa's taunt, he just tries to swing his sword at her with fast and long attacks that she easily dodges, and lands a fierce kick do his leg.
The Blow forces Cloud to stop his attacks, ripping a grunt of pain from him as Tifa aims a front kick to his stomach, which he manages to block with his sword.
Tifa's last kick pushes Cloud back a bit, opening some space between them. But when Cloud tries to assume his stance again, he limps.

-Tifa: Oh oh. Looks like I got your leg Soldier boy. Again.

Tifa says with a smile on her face, enraging Cloud to the point he jumps towards her, in an attempt to land a devastating downward cut.
To no one's surprise but Cloud's, Tifa easily dodges that attack. And seeing the window of opportunity, she lands yet another devastating kick on Cloud's leg, this time ripping a scream from him. He quickly swings his sword in Tifa's direction, and she jumps back a few steps to open some space between them again.

-Tifa: God, I can't believe this. Don't tell me I will defeat you with the same simple strategy I used against you last time. Don't you ever learn, Soldier boy?

With his mobility now extremely reduced, Cloud adopts a defensive posture, putting most of his weight on his good leg while Tifa just stand a few steps in front of him.

-Tifa: Well, isn't this what you wanted? Come at me.

Cloud knows What Tifa is doing. He watched most of her fights, and he knows she is just playing with him. 

-Tifa: Alright, I will make things easier on you.

Tifa says as she takes a few steps forward, closing in the distance between them and stopping right in front of him again. But even now, with Tifa on his range, Cloud doesn't attack.

-Tifa: Now this is just pathetic. You are so afraid you can't even attack me when I'm right in front of you, even with this big sword of yours.

After all he went through, anger takes control of Cloud's mind, forcing him to attack Tifa again, though now he is being notably more cautious, and his attacks are obviously much slower due to his injured leg.

-Tifa: You're too slow, soldier boy. Even more than before.

Tifa says after dodging one of his attacks, and right before dodging another incoming one. Then, she tries to land another kick to Cloud's leg, which he manages to block with his sword.

-Tifa: Finally! Better late than never, huh?

Tifa says right before Hitting Cloud's face with a palm strike, pushing him back a bit.

-Tifa: It might be too late though.
-Cloud: Why are you doing this?
-Tifa: Doing what, soldier boy?
-Cloud: Stop playing and fight me!
-Tifa: You would already be on the ground if I wanted Cloud, but I figured we could to give our watchers a good show.
-Cloud: Fight. me.
-Tifa: Alright, if you insist.

Tifa then rushes to Cloud, releasing a series of fast and strong attacks, mixing up punches and kicks. He manages to block some of them with his sword, but Tifa is too fast for him to keep up with her, so she lands some strong blows, mainly on his body and head, while he focus on trying to protect his hurt leg and his head. 
And after a few seconds, Cloud is barely able to stand, falling on one knee while supporting himself on his sword.

-Tifa: Regret already?
-Cloud: *Grunts in pain*
-Tifa: Look at you, already on your knees, completely breathless and hurt. And that's because I went easy on you and was careful not to break anything.

In one last adrenaline rush, Cloud gets up and tried to land a horizontal cut in the height on Tifa's chest, but she dodges under it while rushing forward, and lands a fierce uppercut under Cloud's chin, sending him flying in the air. While Cloud is in the air, Tifa jumps along with him, and right before he hits the ground, she lands a devastating Dive kick on his face. The impact was huge, and sends Cloud back to the ground head first, with Tifa's boot planted on the side of his face, even making them slide a few inches over the floor of the arena, only then hearing the metallic sound of his sword falling by their side.
