Hey Patrons, in this weekly I’ve got some implementation work on new catalogs to share!
There’s also a new Patreon Poll this week, focusing on getting some feedback about inventory management!

Hey folks, with v2.4.2 out I am now starting implementation work on v2.5! To start with, I’ve come up with an actual implementation based on the proof-of-concept screenshot I showed off last week:
While that might not seem significantly different, this catalog Is actually functioning in-game, instead of just being an image I made in an editing program.
I’d like there to be all sorts of things in the catalogs, including item-like effects such as enchantments, enemies, and documents (moved from their current separate tab). At the moment though the catalogs are only built to work with items, so that’s what I’ve been focused on, and oh boy there are quite a few items that were missing!
The catalogs now include almost every single equipment and consumable in the game, not just all the items that have to be identified. This expands the amount of equipment a fair bit but is absolutely massive for consumables. In total there are already 267 items now, and I expect that number is going to get close to 400 once the catalogs can include other non-item things.
While there aren’t any badges tied into all these new items yet (I’m still considering how best to manage that), they otherwise work right out of the box.
