Hey Patrons, in this weekly I’m going to go over the rough plans I have for finishing up the development of v3.0.0, now that it’s about to go to beta.
There’s also a new Shattered Secrets this week! In this Shattered Secrets I’m going to go over some upcoming visual changes to splash arts and the game’s title graphic coming in v3.0.0!

What’s Left?
As of yesterday the alpha for v3.0.0 includes a complete Cleric base class, one complete subclass and one complete armor ability. This makes the Cleric fully playable, and so I’ll be releasing this update to public beta pretty soon, likely Thursday this week.
Of course, v3.0.0 is still a little ways off from fully releasing, here’s what I’d like to do before that happens:
Firstly, obviously, the Cleric needs to be finished. This means implementing the Paladin, Trinity, and Power of Many. I also expect to do some polishing and balance tweaking in response to feedback and gameplay data.
There are also some visual changes I’d like to make to the game. The biggest of these are covered in today’s Secrets post, but there are also some interface adjustments I’d like to make too.
I haven’t done many of the smaller adjustments and balance tweaks I’d like to do for v3.0.0 yet either. There’s a mix of smaller tweaks from my big list, and also some balance adjustments based on gameplay data (looking at you unstable censer).
Lastly, I’ve got to make blog posts for various releases and the new year. This includes a new blog post this week for the beta, a ‘Shattered in 2025’ post, and an announcement post when the update releases.
Once the beta for v3.0 is out I’m going to try taking a bit of a break over the holidays. I’ll still be around to reply to message and fix any serious bugs of course, but I don’t expect to tackle much of the above list (except for releasing the beta of course) until the new year. If all goes well this means that v3.0.0’s beta will continue to develop in January and a release will start taking shape around the end of that month or early February.
