I have to say, this round's performances were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Each and every team stepped up and the unlimited nature of this round really gave way to such creative storytelling and some of the best performances of this show. The CrewOne made me really proud this episode (and I think the "evil" looking guy your talking about is DY or doyeom? You have mentioned him catching your eye before), it's quite unfortunate that they didn't have any time together to develop as a team, and had to instead develop throughout the show. I felt really bad about hyuk, he dislocates hi shoulder as he's performing in the preliminary round, he got pneumonia while preparing for this round, and then fell while doing the wire, but i also have mad respect that each of those times he continued performing until the end. The strength and determination in that guy is commendable

This episode really turned me into a Jaeyun fan lol. I just love how intentional yet natural his presence was in the water stage. As a cravity fan and Minhee bias, I think Minhee has the visuals and talent to be a great performer but he builds somewhat of a barrier that prevents him from piercing the screen sometimes if that makes sense. I assume it must fall in line with the stress and pressure we saw a glimpse of in the last round. This is a bit of a side rant but I also find it interesting how the camerawork and impact of a line in a song can equally contribute to an outlook of the performance just as much as the line distribution and the idols’ efforts. Even though Jaeyun didn’t have the most lines, I felt like he always made a punch when he appeared on screen and it felt like the camera always let him fulfill his part. Which can’t be the same for some members whose parts felt like a bit of a set up for the next. Either way, I applaud all the aces who were able to perform the special stages while preparing for round 3! Looking forward to your reaction next episode.

The fire aces should be a group and be named On Fire!!! It was my favorite between water and fire stages. Fire aces def had better chemistry together than water, I don't know if that's because they're all similar and are basically the fire members of their groups anyways? Or they just all have that firey stage presence? I was just starting to learn about 8turn before this started and Jaeyun was in my sights for my bias and now because of this episode he totally is my 8turn bias now! I hope to see him live one day. Also I cant wait to see your reaction to 8turns stage!!! Its one of my favs out of this whole show!!
