Ch 61 & 62 blooper + wordy post-mortem (Patreon)
Content
#61 and #62 was planned as one update at the end of May, but the total numbers of panels were 120+. It was impossible to get them done by then, so I was way off in my estimate of how long it'd take to get these done.
I'd like the readers to get the build up in one read, since most won't remember what was read two weeks ago. #62 had to start with Cora seeing the doggo was being friendly with North, to show her that he's not an evil guy, so she can let her guard down. Cora is the type of gal who hates bullshit, (as listed in her character bio), so their conversation let her to get to know him better. Him pushing her away caused her to be more comfortable around him.
( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)
Cora has tsundere defense mechanism cos she knows she's not supposed to like this guy (who is technically her kidnapper), whom she met only like 3 days ago lol... Feelings are just one of those things that can sneak up on you despite logic saying you shouldn't. This whole physical closeness with North is also so new and exciting to her.
(^_-)
Nothing happened when she was all drugged up from the love potion (which is still on her system btw hehe), cos if he did anything beyond the touchy feely, that would make it non-consensual.
Same with the Kisses and Thorns chapter, if he took advantage of her situation, that would make him no different from the rest of the villains. Imo it's very difficult to build a convincing romance that started off without consent for readers in 2019.
Webtoon allows comic showing a guy on top of a girl, as long as they have her clothes on, but they can't be naked lol. I mentioned that to both my proofreaders and they thought that was funny. I thought #62 on webtoon was watered down cos I have to wrap Cora with her towel when North is on top of her. But then I skim thru the comments and I guess people still think it's hot enough? Okey dokey hehe...

Someone on the top comment said he/she was reading it in the car with his/her grandparents... It took me a while, but now I get that majority of my webtoon readers are probably middle schoolers?? Great, now I imagine my 11 years old niece reading my comic.
Facepalm...
